Winter Meeting of the OSA Council of Advisors
The OSA Council of Advisors met in Vancouver this week to share ideas and discuss emerging seniors’ issues in their communities. This meeting focused on the many challenges facing seniors living in rural and remote areas. The council also had the opportunity to hear from Seniors’ Advocate of Newfoundland and labrador Susan Walsh and meet Dan Levitt, who will become B.C.’s seniors advocate following the retirement of Isobel Mackenzie. A special thanks to our speakers Gloria Gutman and Paul Adams, Executive Director of BC Rural Health Network.
